Welcome to Building Blocks!

Hello there!
This is Justin, the creator and principal researcher for the undergraduate thesis project "Building Blocks"! Not sure if this log will be viewed since it'll be hidden under the page (and is only currently open to testers) but thank you for showing interest nonetheless!

As of this period's testing phase please don't forget two very important things: 1) the game is supposed to be played by parent/guardian and child together (sorry if I sound like a broken record saying this, it's for research 😅) and 2) do not forget to answer the accompanying Google Forms page to evaluate the game.

There will be another update to the game ideally within/just after the next 2 weeks in which I will conduct another rush 2nd phase testing, so I hope you will be open to that! I say rush because, phew, deadlines are on the rise!

Regardless, I hope you enjoy and pick up a lot from this project that started off from my love of open world sandbox games. Please absolutely do not hesitate to leave your feedback through comments, answering my evaluation form, or even contacting me personally! If you somehow made it here despite it being way under the page, I sincerely thank you. And also shout out to my extremely wonderful and patient collaborator Andy for coding and helping make this visual novel project come to life. You are all helping spread information on child safety in open world sandbox games more efficient and creative (and are all helping me graduate).
